Position Summary:
The Estimator will be responsible for analysing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and providing detailed pricing information to support project bids and proposals. This role involves evaluating project plans, specifications, and scope to produce accurate and competitive estimates that align with the company’s financial and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation:
- Analyse project blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for steel fabrication and construction projects.
- Calculate quantities, labour, materials, and overhead costs required for project completion.
- Develop comprehensive cost breakdowns and pricing models based on project requirements and market conditions.
- Bid Preparation:
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals, including detailed pricing and scope of work.

Qualifications:

- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

- Create and maintain welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR) for various types of welding processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance:
- Assist in enforcing safety regulations and company safety policies on-site.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Safety Training:
- Support the development and delivery of safety training programs and orientations for new employees.
- Assist in organising safety drills and awareness programs.
- Incident Management:
